Private display names are used. Emails, usernames, billing names, and personal details are not shown publicly.
Moderated and respectful
Conversation must remain discreet, considerate, and free from harassment, outing, coercion, or disclosure of personal information.
Not a dating or crisis service
The Lounge is a moderated discussion community for stories, books, and shared themes. It is not a dating, therapy, or emergency-support service.
Safety posture
A quieter space with clear boundaries.
- Private display names are used for community-visible identity.
- Harassment, outing, doxxing, impersonation, real-name pressure, coercion, and sharing private member content are prohibited.
- No private messaging or public member directory is launching at this stage.
- Eligible members can privately report a topic or reply for moderator review.

The Private Lounge is a moderated member forum. Use your private display name, share only what you intentionally choose to share, and protect the privacy of everyone you meet here.
Protect identity and privacy
- No outing, doxxing, impersonation, or pressure to reveal a real name.
- Do not repost, screenshot, or disclose private member conversations.
- Do not post real names, contact details, workplace details, or identifying information unless it is your own and you intentionally choose to share it.
Respect boundaries
- No harassment, threats, coercion, unwanted sexual pressure, or repeated pressure for personal contact.
- The Lounge is not a dating service.
- The Lounge is not therapy or crisis support. Contact appropriate local emergency or crisis services when immediate help is needed.
Report concerns privately
Eligible members can use the Report action on a topic or reply. Reports are visible only to authorized moderators. Include only the detail needed to explain the concern; never include passwords or payment information.
How moderation works
Moderators may review reports, hide or remove material, close discussions, issue warnings, or escalate safety concerns. Content that violates privacy, consent, safety, or community rules may be removed while a report is reviewed.
No private messaging or public member directory is available at launch. Joining the Lounge means agreeing to protect member privacy and follow these rules.
